BMW diagnostics
Brotherhood Garage works exclusively on BMWs. A warning light is a starting point, not a complete diagnosis: the useful question is what caused it and how your BMW behaves when it appears.
Start with your BMW’s symptoms
Describe what you notice and when it happens. Does the issue appear on a cold start, after the engine warms up, under acceleration, or only occasionally? Those details help frame the next steps.
What to share
- Your BMW model, production year, engine, and chassis code if known.
- The warning message exactly as it appears on the dashboard or iDrive display.
- When the issue started and whether it is repeatable.
- Recent repairs, software changes, and existing modifications.
Plan the right checks for your BMW
Discuss the symptoms before your visit. The inspection scope, time, and cost depend on your BMW’s configuration and the problem. Ask what the proposed checks cover and whether further investigation may be required.
If you already have a diagnostic report, keep it available for the conversation. Contact the garage to confirm availability and arrange the next step.
